Are you a second-third? Do you long to make more connections with other Friends in your age range? This new series will combine social opportunities with content specifically designed for those of us in the second third of our lifetimes. Register once and attend as many (or as few) parts of the series as work for you.
The series will take place mostly online (by Zoom) but will also include a culminating in-person gathering at Powell House, December 3-5. Each month, we’ll gather for one social Zoom lunch and one social Zoom evening. In addition, there will be short Zoom gatherings with a variety of facilitators on spiritual journeys, life stage transitions, spiritual gifts, parenting, supporting aging parents, financial wellness, visioning Quakerism, and more. If real-time interaction isn’t going to work for you, you can also join in by engaging with our suggested read-and-watch list.
The cost of this series is $100, and includes all Zoom gatherings. To ensure financial accessibility to all, the retreat is pay-as-led, with a request that Friends make open-hearted choices that support self and community.
