Celebrating the Winter Solstice 2021
Join Mary Kay and Regina, as we again facilitate this lovely Zoom event! This year, we’re adding a “pre-retreat” opportunity to watch the solstice celebration unfold at Stonehenge, beginning at 10:30am. Eastern. Our plan is to lay the groundwork for our evening time together -- 3:00pm - 8:30pm Eastern. This virtual gathering will include times of worship, creative activity, sharing, story, and listening within our group. Your preparations should include: having a candle nearby, being ready to spend some time outdoors, assembling a collection of magazines, greeting cards, photos that can be utilized by cutting and pasting them on a foundation of a large-ish piece of cardboard or stiff paper. Scissors and glue/tape should also be available. You can also use drawing materials (crayons, markers, chalk, etc) to make your own images. Additionally, we will eat supper together; so please have your meal ready so that you have minimal preparation when it is time to eat!
